Day 13

Day 13 of my regime, and no stones, or even single pebble, have been lost. Disappointing, considering that's plodding every day except Sunday and the last two days as Man Flu has grounded me.
Blogging hours traded for jogging miles have not given me healthy enlightenment, although I should feel slightly self righteous. I'm certain that I've gone down a cup size from an E to a double D. My wife says I 'look' slimmer.
Then I thought running to up-tempo music might up my RPM and increase calorie burn. It sort of worked for 20 minutes but made me want to puke, and I don't like going to discos in daylight hours anyway.
Seeing as this is all in aid of a Sahara adventure, it makes sense to better replicate the stifling atmospheric conditions with a fur lined coat and my new Barstow 100% goggles. Combined with the oversize DJ headphones, I look like a weekender bender escapee. Jog on. BP

Ooooo, I absolutely need one of those furry exercise hats. How good is bad house music when you're exercising? That's why it exists I believe....

I sympathize with your running pain. Best way to get fit for riding... is to ride.

As a fa-basda and lard specialist I can suggest numerous regimes but it depends upon your desired outcome, exercise is brilliant at making you fit and able to keep it going longer, Exercise will not lose weight, well unless you do a marathon every day...losing weight requires reduction of intake dramatically, try not eating for several years, any POW camp or similar attendee can confirm this approach, or maybe fast two days a week, it's brilliant, we all eat far too much anyway, and erm give up bread, oh and rice, and potatoes in fact anything white....I mean look at me I was 14 stone now I am nearly 16...yours with chocolate

After having just read about the level of preparation required I'm now going to ride across town to drink beer and eat a burrito. I hope this is sufficient
